Day 1:  

Blois, visit the Chateau and town in the morning (Cathedral and 11th century abbey church). Lunch with a beautiful view over the old town and 18th century bridge. Afternoon visits of the world famous Chateau de Chambord, a chocolate museum with a local hand-made chocolate specialist (tasting included :)), and a wine tasting in Cheverny, where we explain the work in the vines, in the winery, and enjoy 7 beautiful wines while discussing the history of wine in France. 

Day 2:  

morning boat ride on the Cher river under the arches of the Chateau de Chenonceau, followed by the visit of its gardens and Chateau. After a nice lunch in a troglodyte* cave, visit the towns of Amboise and Vouvray with a wine tasting of its famous Chenin Blanc grape variety, and dinner in a 1 star Michelin restaurant (Chateau de Pray, which is also a hotel you can stay at). 

Day 5:  

morning visit of the Tuscan-like city of Clisson, and its medieval ramparts. Tasting of Muscadet wines, before visiting Nantes on a walking city tour. 

Optional day or additional day:

Sancerre for a village tour, wine tasting of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, goat farm visit and tasting of different ages of goat cheese paired with wines, and tasting in Pouilly Fumé for its famous flint stone and smell in the wines
